Garbage Collection & Source Segregation

100% Door to Door collection of waste

Kerala has been urbanizing more rapidly than the national average. In this context, the KSWM project envisages complete removal of solid waste generated at households and institutions in spite of the amount of waste generated. We ensure 100% Door to Door collection of waste from the source. To support the venture, the state government has issued directions to local governments to improve the segregation of waste at the source to encourage proper solid waste disposal. The Local Self Government Department, the Suchitwa Mission, Haritha Kerala Mission, Kudumbashree Mission, and Clean Kerala Company work hand in hand in the collection and segregation of waste.

We offer

• 100% Door to Door collection of waste
• Waste collection on designated dates
• Separate collection of non-biodegradable, degradable, and sanitary waste
• Service personnel at your door steps
• Stop worrying on the accumulation of waste at home/ your premises

Waste management was once considered a complex problem. But the involvement of Haritha Karma Sena in the collection and segregation of waste paved a new path. There are 92 Haritha Karma Sena units in the urban local bodies of Kerala. They collect segregated waste at households and institutions at their door steps with an affordable fee. They separately collect waste based on various categories such as glass, steel, plastics, etc. Each unit covers around 200 houses in a division to collect non-biodegradable waste. They even fix particular days for the collection of Non-biodegradable, degradable, and sanitary waste and ensure the transportation to the vehicles engaged by the local body. Haritha Karma Sena members do their best in manufacturing environment-friendly materials, maintenance of waste disposal mechanisms, organic farming, compost making and associated works with environment-friendly equipments on rent. Shredded plastic is being given to the local bodies for road tarring by the Clean Kerala Company.
