The Kerala Solid Waste Management Project (KSWMP), invites interested agencies to participate in an Early Market Engagement (EME) process for their Bio-CNG project at Changanassery Municipality (Urban Local Body/ ULB), in Kottayam district of Kerala along with 5 Gramp Panchayats within 10 km radius.
The project is funded by the consortium of World Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and Government of Kerala, through Local Self Government Department, Government of Kerala.
The project aims to enhance sustainable waste management in the ULB by focusing on setting up of a 30 TPD Bio-CNG plant, improving collection and transportation of waste from within Changanssery Municipality as well as from the adjacent ULBs participating in the process. The project is proposed to be implemented on Design, Build and Operate (DBO) model on PPP basis
This EME process aims to gather insights, assess market interest, and refine procurement strategies to ensure competitive bidding. KSWMP seeks experienced technology providers, equipment suppliers, collection and transportation service providers for contractors for designing, constructing, installing and operating regional Bio CNG plants, including commercial banks and financial institutions.
